Welcome to First African Methodist Episcopal Church of Pasadena. For nearly one hundred and twenty years, First African Methodist Episcopal Church has been on the cutting edge of change and service. While we are proud of our record, we cannot boast because much remains to be done. There are still young people to encourage, seniors to assure, hungry to be fed, homeless to be housed, sick to be comforted, the under educated to be trained, and unemployed to prepare. We heard the challenge of the twenty-first century through the song: “To serve the present age, our calling to fulfill; o may it all my power engage to do my Master’s will!” Urged onward by our Lord’s words: “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to the Least of these who are members of my Family, you did it to me.” During this present age, we will continue to fulfill the great commission given to the church: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you…” The Family of Faith of First African Methodist Episcopal Church of Pasadena welcomes you.
